BLACK SPICE RECIPES

Blackened Catfish
Ingredients:
4 catfish filets
Iron Skillet
6 1/2 Tbs Black Spice
2-4 Tbs vegetable oil
Sauce of your choice if wanted

Directions:
Preheat Cast Iron Skillet to med high.  Cover both sides of catfish with Black Spice, cook on one side for 4 minutes then turn and cook other side for 4 minutes.  Plate and add sauce of your choice if desired.

CHILI SPICE RECIPES


Chili
Ingredients:
1-2 Lbs. extra lean meat of your choice
1-2 C diced onions
Chili Spice
Chopped Garlic
Low Sodium Beef Base (optional)

Directions:
Brown desired meat in skillet or Dutch oven until brown.  Add chopped onions and saute' 3-5 minutes or until tender, add garlic and cook about one more minute, add Chili Spice to taste.  Add liquid of choice that accents meat of choice--you can make the chili with more or less liquid depending on what type of chili you are making.

GARLIC AND HERB SPICE RECIPES

Garlic and Herb Cheesy Bread
Ingredients:
Bread of your choice
Garlic & Herb Spice
Butter
Cheeses of Choice

Directions:
Slice bread to individual portions or length wise for family style dinning.  Cut side, spread butter on tope of bread.  Season with Garlic & Herb Spice and top with cheese.  Bake in 350 degree preheated oven till cheese is melted and bread is toasted.

RED SPICE RECIPES

Slick Rick's Famous Chicken Salad
Ingredients:
4-6 boneless skinless chicken breast
3-5 Tbs olive oil
1/4 C Red Spice
1/4-1/2 C diced red bell peppers
1/4-1/2 C diced celery
1/4 C green onions
1/2-1 C Mayo
2-4 Tbs Creole mustard
Salt and Pepper to taste

Directions:
In a pan place chicken, olive oil, and Red Spice.  Mix all together.  Grill chicken and allow to cool completely.  After chicken has cooled, do a small to medium dice.  Mix all remaining ingredients in a mixing bowl.  Adjust seasoning with Red Spice and salt and pepper.  Stick in refrigerator and allow to cool.



Easy Pleasin' Grilled Sausage
Ingredients:
1-2 lbs favorite sausage
1/4 C Red Spice
2 Tbs oil

Directions:
Cut sausage lengthwise.  Spread oil over cut sections of the sausage.  Sprinkle Red Spice over sausage and grill to perfection.

Not Ya Mama's Shrimp Dip
Ingredients:
2-3 lbs shrimp--size is up to you
1/2 C onion diced
1/4 C celery diced
1/2 C red bell pepper diced
1/4 C olive oil
1-2 lbs cream cheese
1/4 C Red Spice
3 Tbs fresh chopped garlic
Salt and Pepper to taste

Directions:
In a large pan add olive oil.  When it gets hot add onion, celery, and red peppers.  Saute' for 3-5 minutes and then add Salt and Pepper.  Add fresh garlic and stir for 1 minute.  Add shrimp and Red Spice and when shrimp are cooked lower heat and add cream cheese.  Cook on low as not to burn the cheese or over cook the shrimp.  Adjust seasoning with more Red Spice and Salt and Pepper.

SALTY AND SPICY SPICE RECIPES

Mary Fries
Ingredients:
3-5 Medium size baking potatoes
Salty & Spicy Spice
Self Rising Flour

Directions:
Cut the potatoes into home style French Fries and place in water.  Season flour with Salty & Spicy Spice.  Remove potatoes and toss in flour mixture to coat evenly.  Preheat oil in fryer to 375-400 degrees, and fry until golden brown.  Once well drained add more Salty & Spicy Spice to your desired flavor.  The remaining flour mixture can be saved by sifting before refrigerating to be used at a later date.

STEAK SPICE RECIPES

Iron Skillet Steak
Ingredients:2 Steaks of you choice 8-12 oz each
3-4 Tbs Steak Spice
Iron Skillet
3 Tabs vegetable oil

Directions:Place steak in a pan/dish and season with 1-2 Tablespoons Steak Spice on each side.  Allow to sit for 20 minutes flipping once.  Heat skillet on medium high with vegetable oil just before smoking begins.  Place steaks in skillet and allow to sear on one side.  Turn and sear the other side of steak and cook to desired temperature.  If cooking to a higher temperature turn down heat and allow the steak to finish cooking to temperature of choice.  Remove from skillet and let steak "rest" for several minutes prior to cutting.
